Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of US Sales, the Director of Sales will support Proximie’s commercial expansion across the United States. This role is accountable for driving new business growth through partnerships with leading health systems, hospitals, and strategic enterprise accounts.
The Director of Sales will lead, develop and inspire a high-performing sales team to deliver against ambitious targets. Success in this role will be defined by the ability to scale new logo acquisition across a portfolio of over 1,000 potential customers and establish Proximie as the technology partner of choice for surgical innovation.
This is a pivotal opportunity for a strategic and entrepreneurial sales leader who is passionate about transforming healthcare through technology and defining the future of the intelligent operating room.
Job Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across hospitals, health systems, and enterprise customers.
Personally engage with high-value prospects and strategic accounts, setting the standard for consultative, value-based selling.
Drive consistent and predictable sales growth by instilling operational discipline, accurate forecasting, and best-in-class sales execution.
Build and maintain deep market intelligence, including competitive landscape analysis, partner ecosystems, and emerging trends influencing purchasing behavior.
Lead national account planning, ensuring a structured approach to territory management, opportunity prioritization, and long-term customer engagement.
Champion Proximie’s value proposition at the executive level, articulating the strategic, clinical, and economic benefits of our solutions.
Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and ensure successful closure of transformational deals, including RFP responses and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, with a minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise sales, business development, or client management, including at least 2+ years leading high-performing sales teams.
Proven success in developing and executing national or multi-regional go-to-market strategies, including market segmentation, territory planning, and resource deployment.
Deep understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem, including hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and the broader technology landscape influencing clinical care.
Demonstrated experience selling SaaS or technology platforms within complex, regulated environments.
Demonstratable track record in navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, including RFPs, contract negotiation, and executive engagement.
Skilled in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot) and leveraging data-driven insights to manage pipeline, forecast performance, and guide team decisions.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to influence and engage C-level executives.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and resilience under pressure.
Results-oriented, strategic, and adaptable leader who thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
