Account Executive, US
Proximie is on a mission to improve healthcare by transforming the world’s operating rooms into connected ecosystems of people, devices, and data.
Our Intelligence Suite transforms operating room (OR) performance, keeping teams in sync and workflows on track to maximise throughput. Simultaneously our computer vision and AI capabilities capture real-time data and detect surgical events – improving quality of data outputs. The result: ORs are optimised like never before – with predictive analytics and automated notifications ensuring patients and staff are in the right place at the right time.
Once practitioners are in the OR, our Surgical Suite enables real-time remote access and creates a secure video record of every procedure; improving training, education, and collaboration. It is an intuitive asset which helps instil a culture of continuous learning, accelerates the adoption of cutting-edge medical devices, and enhances surgical performance across the entire global workforce – improving outcomes and saving lives.
Proximie was commercialised in 2019 and is available in over 800 facilities globally.

Position Overview
As Proximie continues its rapid growth across the US, we are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to join our US commercial team. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this individual will be responsible for driving new logo acquisition (across a potential portfolio of 600+ customers) and expanding Proximie’s footprint across key health systems, hospitals, and strategic accounts.
The Account Executive will identify, engage, and close opportunities where Proximie’s platform can deliver measurable clinical and operational value - improving patient outcomes, optimizing OR efficiency, and enabling a smarter, data-driven approach to surgery.
This is a high-impact, growth-focused role requiring a strategic, resilient, and entrepreneurial sales professional with a proven ability to navigate complex healthcare environments, build C-suite relationships, and close transformational deals. Success will mean expanding Proximie’s presence across the US and helping to define the future of the intelligent operating room.
Responsibilities
- Use extensive experience and consultative selling skills to initiate, qualify, and close new business opportunities across target health systems, hospitals, and IDN’s.
- Own the full sales cycle, from territory planning, lead generation, and stakeholder engagement through to proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Perform detailed account and territory planning, identifying key decision-makers, budget holders, and clinical champions to drive expansion across new logo opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and Product teams to ensure aligned go-to-market execution and seamless customer onboarding.
- Lead consultative discussions with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to translate Proximie’s value proposition into measurable ROI and improved clinical outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, RFP’s, and business cases that demonstrate value and differentiation within competitive procurement environments.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting discipline in Proximie’s CRM, ensuring accuracy and visibility into key performance metrics.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs to inform territory strategy and influence Proximie’s commercial approach.
- Represent Proximie at key industry events, conferences, and regional forums to build relationships and enhance brand visibility.
- Balance workload effectively: approximately 40% consultative engagement, proposals, and client follow-up, and 60% proactive new business development including outbound prospecting and deal generation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally within healthcare technology or SaaS environments, with a proven record of consistent quota attainment and new logo acquisition.
- Demonstrated success in complex, multi-stakeholder sales within hospital systems, IDNs, or surgical networks, including experience navigating clinical, operational, and procurement decision pathways.
- Deep consultative and value-based selling expertise, with the ability to translate clinical and operational challenges into clear business outcomes and ROI.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem including hospital operations.
- Experience building executive-level relationships with surgeons, clinical leaders, and C-suite stakeholders to drive alignment and strategic buy-in.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling proposals and solution narratives.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in a fast-scaling, high-velocity environment with evolving processes and priorities.
