Position Overview
The Senior Director of Strategic Accounts will report to the VP of Sales, Americas and will be responsible for driving revenue growth across America. This role accountable for pre-sale success including the sourcing and execution of new sales opportunities across medical device clients and hospital/healthcare systems, while where required cover for post-sale activities by partnering closely with the Customer Success team.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to profitably grow revenue across Proximie’s portfolio of products within targeted hospital/healthcare systems and medical device clients.
- Drive new and existing hospital systems partnerships and help shape deal structures and pricing with business value analysis including price negotiation for successful bids and proposals.
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with company OKR’s.
- Lead in strategic account planning, developing customer profiles and forecasting.
- Understand and effectively deliver Proximie’s value proposition, leading by example through demonstrated sales strategy and ultimately ensure deals are closed, supporting other members of the team where required.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all key competitors and partners.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering and Operational leadership to ensure marketing, research, data, evidence, and product developments are aligned to American market needs.
- Effectively collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams where required to ensure best in class customer service.
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of successful enterprise sales and business development experience (at least 5+ years with medical devices/medical technology) with a proven history of individual quota attainment.
- Exceptional understanding of the US health systems with a passion for new and emerging technology used in healthcare.
- Experienced with account planning, forecasting, and managing sales pipelining.
- Experienced in using salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills with outstanding business acumen and proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships that cultivate business opportunities.
- Excellent relationship, communication and negotiation skills being able to flex these to different customer, situations, cultures etc.
- Proven ability to “look around corners”, predicting customer needs and ensuring that Proximie is well positioned to meet these.
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly on a varied schedule based on the needs of the team, with availability during nights and weekends as needed.
